The Czech Paradise (Český ráj) is the oldes protected landscape area in the Czech Republic. The uniqueness of the nature around the Jizera river is demonstrated by the fact that it was pronounced the first UNESCO geopark in the Czech Republic. Near the recreational complex, several natural monuments and landmarks are located (especially many rock areas):
